Pre-Production Mastering
Mastering is the final step in the creative process that prepares your CD for replication. Trend's custom built Mastering Studios provide a comfortable, sophisticated interior with a relaxed, pleasant and professional working atmosphere. The rooms have been acoustically designed to provide the perfect listening environment in which to Master your recording.
Trend's Mastering Engineers will pay close attention to detail and produce masters that sound their best on the widest variety of playback systems. In addition to producing masters that are sonically balanced, our quality control process guarantees that our masters will meet the production standards required by CD replicators (including "Red Book" compatibility).
CD Mastering Includes The Following:
Adjust overall level to commercial standards consistent with good dynamics.
Insure a consistent level from song to song.
Signal processing (compression & EQ) as required.
Stereo imaging/widening when needed.
Resequence tracks (arrange in proper order).
Spacing between tracks adjusted for proper timing.
Noise (tape hiss, clicks, pops, etc.) removed from tracks when possible.
Clean the beginning and end of each track as needed.
Remove noise from spacing between tracks.
Digital editing to correct various problems.
CD text included at no extra charge.
ISRC codes, universal product code/media catalog number (included only upon request).
Assemble and burn your master to "Red Book" specifications (required by CD replicators).
Provide a master disc of the highest quality for CD replication.
